Tasks Sync1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Tasks Sync (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Usage. If you do not agree to all the terms, you must not use the Service. The Service is provided by afaustov Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Description of Service
Tasks Sync is a cloud-based integration tool that synchronizes tasks between Google Tasks and Notion databases. The Service allows you to connect your Google and Notion accounts, configure field mappings, and run initial and scheduled sync operations. The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when connecting your Google and Notion accounts.
- Keep your connected Google and Notion accounts secure and revoke Tasks Sync access if you suspect unauthorized use.
- Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Not use the Service to sync illegal, infringing, or abusive content.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service infrastructure.
4. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with Google Tasks and Notion. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service:
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of these third-party services. You acknowledge that by using these integrations, you are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Tasks Sync is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or Notion.
5. Data Ownership
As between you and Tasks Sync, you retain any rights you have in your task content. You grant us limited permission to access and process that content only to operate and support the Service.
6. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, afaustov Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, sync errors, missed deadlines, or service interruptions. The Service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
7. Sync Accuracy and Conflicts
Tasks Sync tracks the last synchronized state of each linked task. A change made on only one side is propagated to the other. If the same field changes on both sides, the value from the more recently updated Google task or Notion page is used. Recurring-task rules may separately update completion state and due date. We cannot guarantee that every sync operation will be error-free, so you are responsible for reviewing results and maintaining backups of important data.
8. Account Termination
You may stop synchronization by pausing or deleting configurations. “Remove saved configurations” deletes your configurations and signs you out, but does not modify tasks or revoke Google or Notion authorization. Provider access must be revoked separately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these terms or if your use creates operational or legal risk.
9. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes that may affect their configurations or data.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
